| Xiaoming Zeng is a assistant professor of the Department of Health Services and Information Management starting this July. After receiving an MD from Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) in 1997, Dr. Zeng went to Rutgers University at Newark where he spent one year as a graduate student in the Department of Public Administration. He then moved to University of Pittsburgh where he was awarded a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2004. From 1999 to 2002, he worked as a research fellow at the Center for Biomedical Informatics at University of Pittsburgh and was certificated in medical informatics in 2002. Dr. Zeng’s primary research area is the evaluation and enhancement of Web accessibility for persons with disabilities. He also had other research activities in public health informatics, pathological informatics, and the electronic health record. He is interested in research on accessibility and usability of online documentation, mobile computing in health care, consumer health informatics, and public health informatics. | ![]() |
