Location and description of boat ramp access points in Eastern NC
Please feel free to submit correction information to me about any ramp listed and I will try to get the information changed as soon as possible. Additionally, you will notice that many of the locations do not have detailed information listed. This is because I have not visited 85% of the ramps listed and could not find information anywhere else. If you frequent one of the listed ramps please submit the missing information to me and I will see that it is posted. I would also like to post photographs of the ramps to appear with the details. If you have taken or would not mind taking such photos and submitting them to me for this purpose, it would be greatly appreciated.
GPS coordinates: The current listed GPS Latitude and Longitude come from the map itself and are approximate. If you have a GPS unit on you boat or vehicle and could jot down the exact coordinates (@ the ramp) and submit them for use on this site, it would be appreciated.
Photos should be of the ramp facing the water or from the water facing the ramp. To give prospective a boat or vehicle at the ramp would be ideal.
I have numbered the Ramps (no particular order) in the description so that you may refer to them by number when submitting information. Also the number is easier to give to friends for reference should they want to visit the site.
What does appreciated mean? This is a free site and I simply wanted to create a more efficient way to locate Eastern NC boat ramps. At your request I would list your name at the bottom of the description that pops up for each ramp as a contributor of the content for the ramp you provide information or a photo for.
