The Department of English at East Carolina University offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in linguistics and teaching English as a second language (TESL).  At the graduate level, the Department offers an M.A. in English with a concentration in linguistics or TESL, as well as an add-on certificate in TESL for North Carolina public school teachers.
