Below are some animated Gifs of social networks seen at the South Pole
Station (created using Mage
and GIF Construction
Set ). Each frame represents a consecutive month (April thru October)
during the winter-over stay.
The green ball represents the Station Manager,
while the blue and yellow balls represent the scientists and the non-scientist
members of the crew (respectively). The red balls were used as framing to
ensure that the scaling from month to month stayed consistent.
